Approving a Domain

If you wish to receive all emails from a particular domain, log in to Roaring Penguin and follow the steps below. 1. Type the domain you wish to approve in the box that appears under the Accept and Reject List heading. 2. Choose the Always accept mail from… option from the drop-down menu and click the Add button. Approving an Email Address

If you wish to receive all emails from a particular email address, log in to Roaring Penguin and follow the steps below. 1. Type the email address you wish to approve in the box that appears under the Accept and Reject List heading. 2. Choose the Always accept mail from… option from the drop-down menu and click the Add button. Note: Emails sent from an approved email address will be sent directly to your inbox without being scanned as potential spam. These emails will still be scanned for viruses.

Blocking a Domain

If you wish to block all emails coming from a particular domain, log in to Roaring Penguin and follow the steps below. 1. Type the domain you wish to block in the box that appears under the Accept and Reject List heading. 2. Choose the Always reject mail from… option from the drop-down menu and click the Add button. Note: Blocking a domain will block any email address associated with that domain from being able to send you emails. Emails from a blocked domain will not show up in your quarantine. Delivering Quarantined Emails

When an email is deemed to be a spam message by the spam filter, it will be placed in the quarantine pending your action. After an interval of time, a list of quarantined messages will be sent to your email address. The list will look similar to the picture below. Logging in to Roaring Penguin

1. Open your web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and browse to http://nexicom.net 2. At the top right corner of the screen, click the link labeled My Account. 3. In the box labeled E-mail Protection, fill in the boxes with the corresponding information: Email – Your full email address Password – The password associated with that email address Click Login.

Opting Out of Spam-Scanning

If you wish to opt out of spam-scanning for your email address, log in to the Roaring Penguin web interface and follow the steps below: 1. Click the Preferences option in the left menu bar. 2. Click the Opt In/Out option in the left menu bar. 3. Click the button labeled Click to opt OUT of spam-scanning. You should now see a page similar to the picture above indicating that you are now opted out of spam-scanning meaning that none of your incoming emails will be scanned by the spam filter. Removing a Domain from a Blocked/Approved List

If you have blocked or approved a domain by mistake and wish to remove that domain from the blocked or approved list, log in to Roaring Penguin and follow the steps below. 1. Click the Domains link that appears under the Accept and Reject List heading. 2. Choose the Delete from Table option from the drop-down menu that appears in the same row as the domain you wish to remove. Click Submit Changes.

Removing an Email Address from a Blocked/Approved List

If you have blocked or approved an email address by mistake and wish to remove the email address from the blocked or approved list, log in to Roaring Penguin and follow the steps below. 1. Click the Senders link that appears under the Accept and Reject List heading. 2. Choose the Delete from Table option from the drop-down menu that appears in the same row as the email address you wish to remove. Click Submit Changes.
